Phew. I'm exhausted from all this work... I haven't been working like that on Kyodai for a while... The new mini-game is more and more playable (and really cool), I'm also adding an alternative way to play Solitaire (just for fun), and trying to improve the animations in Hashira. Okay, I've really got to finish this new version as soon as possible. It never seems to end. Every time I add something, it adds ten more things to do. Argh.

Hello ! Thanks for participating in the Kyodai 2D vote. As for the 16.42 engine, I'll therefore keep things as they are for now (which is satisfying for me). I've replaced the poll with a new one, hopefully you'll help me sort out which kind of Game Selector you prefer. I'm currently working on a new type of Game Selector, based on the one that was included in the very first beta of Kyodai 11.00... Today, since there is a seventh game to add to the bunch, I'm forced to enlarge the previous Game Selector, and I don't like the idea. So, please go to the front page, have a look at the two screenshots and give me your opinion !

Okay, you may believe it or not... But I'm actually working on a new mini-game for Kyodai Mahjongg ! And it's not like I'm "thinking about it", it's implemented right now in my latest build. It's a game based on the Small Tilesets, and I'm keeping its rules secret for now. But I'm pretty sure you'll like it. I can't post a demo or anything because basically it still doesn't work, but it shows up on the screen, and as soon as I've finished implementing the game logic, I'll tell you more about it ! Hmm... Err, hi. I'm quite surprised to see that some answers to the poll actually mention v16.00 as working better than v16.42, since the changes to the core itself were minimal -- I only fixed the problems people had encountered. In fact, I'm tempted to believe that it's a joke because nobody actually sent me an e-mail after voting for v16.00. When I say I require an e-mail, I mean it, you know ? I'm not evil or anything, I'm just looking for explanations. If you're the silent type of person who likes to answer polls and not send e-mails, don't expect to see me come back to v16.00 like this. Apart from that, I can see that some people want me to come back to version 10.21. Hmm, not for now, really... I actually tried it again recently, and the OpenGL code is buggy -- it doesn't work in hardware mode on my Radeon card. I prefer to trust Direct3D for now, even though I still have all my respect for OpenGL. Oh, and finally... For those who answered "Kyodai 15.42 is the only way I could play Kyodai at all"... Let me remind you that Kyodai 2D is based on the 15.42 2D engine, so if you could launch v15.42, you can launch Kyodai 2D as well. Otherwise you have a very very strange machine, that's all I can say ! Wink

Hello. "No news is good news", as I said, so the fact that I'm not hearing anymore about Invalid Floating Point errors seems to be a good thing... Wink In the meantime I'm working on sorting my "to do list" for the next versions, and since it's been a long time since I asked you whether or not you had trouble with the current versions of Kyodai, I'm posting on the main page of the website a new poll about what engine version you'd like me to use in the future. Thanks for participating.
