Miguel, you have some amazing talent!  Wow! Smile

My favorite was Perpetual Moves, Slow Version.  I think I listened to it ten times straight.

I can't wait to get a job, so I can get the CD.  Hmmmm.  Christmas is coming.....I need to drop a hint to my hubby.  Smile

Good news for Miguel fans -- he put out an album for free Smile

Bluescape RMX is a version of Bluescape remixed by his online friends (as well as himself.)
There are some interesting variations on his best bits, thankfully most are in the ambient vein, rather than your usual bland dance remix.
As a reminder, Miguel released 5 albums so far:

- Light & Shadow, the original soundtrack for Kyodai Mahjongg
- Bluescape, with some extra tracks from Kyodai Mahjongg (there's a 2 CD edition which is seriously recommended.)
- Tenganan, an album inspired by sounds recorded during a trip to Bali. Very soothing, more ambient than melodic.
- And then sounds (have) turned into unicorns, Miguel's only pure electronica album. Very close in spirit to Royksopp's albums (whom we both love), and some of Air and Daft Punk. A huge departure from the Kyodai Mahjongg style, but still strongly recommended.
- Windleaves, released in 2009, goes back to the roots and adds more technical magic. This is probably the most accomplished album he ever released in terms of arrangements, and has some of the best melodies he ever created.

I don't really have a 'favorite' album, as I find them all to be great, but my favorite tracks are on 'Bluescape' and 'Windleaves'. All of his albums have at least one track that I find absolutely fantastic anyway, so buy them all if you can! Smile

Another free album from Miguel Smile

http://www.tripmusic.net/~aeryal/store/product.php?id_product=97

Windleaves is available for free for '12 hours', as he said in his newsletter. So that probably leaves only, err... 7 hours or something? before the offer expires. So... Go ahead and download!

Nao, thank-you very much for the heads up on the free Miguel album download.  At this time, I have just listen to the first track and it is very good. I have saved a link to the music site to go back and buy another album.

All the best,
