I love the Beta 3...especially the Sky Box Majestic option....I do have to say that I like the traditional Kyodai sound effects...but, I had a lot of fun playing around!  I can't wait to spread the word about your official release...I'll wait for you to let us know...then I will have a lot of very happy friends and family!  Maybe that will help the marketing a little... Even programers get the blue screen of death?! How terrible...and annoying!

You can see a video of this happening with the introduction of Windows 98.  Press the play button on the top image at the left. http://www.methodshop.com/tech/articles/microsoftBlue/index.shtmlI believe the incident that dmaggard refers to was during Bill Gate's keynote presentation at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. His demonstration of Microsoft Media Center crashed during the presentation on integrating digital photography, and later a Microsoft product manager failed to access the internet with a Tablet PC. A new game, Forza Motor Sport, also triggered the dreaded Windows blue screen of death.

Wow...I knew MS had its problems....but, even Bill Gates?  Makes me feel a little better about my own experiences with MS...don't know why, but it does!  Thanks for sharing.
I haven't seen the BSOD on XP yet either...not at all like Win98.  I do have programs...even explorer quit responding at times....but, no BSOD.

Ant5> Of course, most BSODs happen with faulty drivers... The infamous IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL message... This is what happens to me under XP with my new drivers for my new hard drive.

I used to get it all the time with WIN98, but it hasn't happened yet with XP.  But I don't mess with the drivers, like Nao does.      WINXP just seems to be a much more stable operating system than 98 ever was.  I'm pretty happy with it.

And somebody please tell me why my PC is a magnet for spyware and has more viruses than an overworked bi-sexual Thai hooker. Oh, good heavens!  Did that ever make me laugh!!!    I couldn't view the clip.  I got an error message about the value being null.

I have never seen it on XP.  I have seen it most frequently on Windows NT and '95.  Haven't seen it much on '98 but haven't used 98 much either.  I just updated my laptop from 95 to 98SE a few months ago.  My desktop has XP with SP2 and works flawlessly.  It has frozen a couple of times, but not the BSOD. I am surprised that Bill didn't try to pass his experience with the BSOD as a feature!

Operating systems I have used... Windows 95 Windows 98 Windows Me Windows NT Windows 2000 Windows XP ...and never once have I ever experienced BSOD. Although I've seen it happen to other people -- I feel so left out.

The first time I ever heard about Blue Screen of Death was from my wife -- I had to stop her and ask her for clarification because I had no clue what she was talking about! "You mean you don't know about the Blue Screen of Death?" was her incredulous reply. "No," I said, "I have never had Windows do that to me." I am a BSOD virgin.     And I guess I should keep things that way.  No need to get down and dirty with that driver code of yours.  But thanks for the offer, Ant.
